Knights of Columbus Launches New Into the Breach: The Dignity of Work Video Series

02/03/2026

NEW HAVEN, Conn. — The Knights of Columbus today announced the launch of a new five-part video series titled Into the Breach: The Dignity of Work. This video series focuses on the Catholic vision of man’s mission in the world, by examining the nature of work and its role in a man’s life and his sanctification, as well as its role in ordering creation. The five episodes in the series offer a general vision of the dignity and purposes of work and help men embrace and live this vision in their own work lives. The Dignity of Work builds on the success of the Knights’ previous video series, including Into the Breach and Into the Breach: The Mission of the Family, which have received over three million views.

“Our Founder, Blessed Michael McGivney, created the Knights of Columbus to give men a place to pursue greatness,” said Supreme Knight Patrick Kelly. “More than 140 years later, we are still giving Catholic men tools for faith formation, so they can become better fathers, husbands and parish leaders. The videos in this exciting new series will help Catholic men understand God’s mission for them on Earth, how work brings men closer to God and builds virtue, and how work strengthens family life and improves society.”

Each episode of Into the Breach: The Dignity of Work focuses on a different aspect of the experience of human work, and features expert interviews with well-known Catholic commentators, as well as the powerful personal story of a Catholic man who has lived the theme of the episode in his own life. The five episodes are titled:

  • God’s Mission for Man
  • Work and Holiness
  • Work Life and Family Life
  • Work and the World
  • Putting Work in Its Place

In addition, a companion study guide will accompany the video series. This study guide is optimized to use the new series in Cor, the Knights of Columbus’ men’s faith formation initiative.
